Recy® – Mono-material film for packaging

Recybariflex® and RecySealflex® are mono-material PE films designed to replace PET/PE and BOPP/PE laminated structures.
They can be used to manufacture 100% PE mono-material doypacks, bags, bag-in-boxes, and stand-up pouches for food packaging: cheese, vegetables, meat and fish, dried legumes, cold cuts, rice, cereals, coffee, ice cream, and animal feed.
This durable film provides a highly effective barrier against oxygen, moisture, and aromas, ensuring extended shelf life thanks to the modified atmosphere created by the high-barrier film, thereby reducing food waste.
Excellent printability in gravure, digital, and flexographic printing.
Recy has obtained packaging recyclability certification from the Cyclos Institute.

Main properties:
Fully recyclable, high-barrier film, ready for food packaging;

Sustainability: Recy film is made from a single material, polyethylene (PE), and is also a monofilm, as it requires no additional processing for its end use → Cyclos certification for recyclability.
It does not require lamination onto other substrates → suitable for direct processing on traditional packaging lines.
No glue.
High speed and productivity on packaging machines.

Applications:
Doypacks, bags, stand-up pouches, and lids for trays;
The monofilm can be used on Vertical, Horizontal, and FlowPack machines;
The rigidity and mechanical strength of the outer layer allow printing with any technology;
LOW-SIT: low initial sealing temperature in the inner layer;
Excellent resistance to high temperatures, even when applying zips or closure caps.
